WELCOME TO 2014

Happy 2014 everyone

Welcome to 2014.  We have now updated our 2014 events and will continue to review and refine these, so keep your eye on our website.

The pictures to the right have been provided by one of our fabulous customers in Pascoe Vale. The top photo is back in February 2013 and the bottom photo is the same shot in January 2014.  This is just under 1 year and they are starting to have a beautiful green fence. Fantastic to look at from their beautiful decking.

Thank you for sharing these photos with us.  They have also been put onto our website under the photo gallery.

In 2014 we will continue to expand our product range. We are looking at different bamboo fibre products as they are high quality and sell very well.  Once again keep your eye on our website and this blog for all the new stuff that we will be providing.  If there is something that you would like to see on our site or on this blog then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will investigate and upload for you.

Thank you for your continued support and have a great 2014.

Feeding Bamboo Plants

Yes that is correct, bamboo plants like a small feed about once a month.  A small amount of nitrogen once a month will keep them thriving.

New Photos on our Website.

We have now put up some new photos in our photo gallery under the Customer Pics.  We have put up a beautiful landscaped garden in Ashburton with Gracilis that will grow up to be a screen along the fence line.  Have a look and then send us some of your bamboo photos.

High quality bamboo socks, high quality bamboo trunks and singlets. Also, lots of different varieties of bamboo for different gardening requirements. From clumping, to screening and hedging. You can even create a ornamental bamboo plant in a pot.

Cream Stripe bamboo or Bambusa albo minor (botanical name) is on special this month.  You know it is on special as the frog on our website tells you.  Cream stripe bamboo is a clumping type that can be used as a screen or hedge.  A previous bamboo blog shows a picture of one of our clients using this as a hedge along their driveway.  If you cannot find this on our blog then it is also in our photo gallery on our website.  This bamboo can grow to about 6 metres in height and has a clump diameter of about 1.5 metres (more specifications on our website).  Here is a link to our cream stripe page - Bamboo Creations Cream Stripe Bamboo

Flemington Twilight market this weekend.

The Flemington market this weekend is a twilight market.  It runs from 3pm to 8pm at the Flemington race course.  The Flemington gardens would still be buzzing after the Melbourne Cup carnival so if you are into gardens then this would be the perfect market for you.  These markets are perfect for getting ready for Christmas.

We have also added a new market to our website.  If you like the twilight markets then we will be attending the Gisborne Twilight market on the 13th of December.
